About Us

This is the least exciting part of building a website where we have to talk about ourselves. The name Rob & Bev came about for a very simple reason it is our names. Rob & Bev. We are both from the UK having been born in sunny Wales. We have been married for, you really want to know? OK!

Back in 1977 one sunny July day we got married. Our silver wedding saw us heading to St. Lucia to renew our wedding vows. Here are some of the  photos of that lovely and happy day.

Rob worked for almost 30 years in commercial IT, mainly on the HP 3000 platform for those of you who know and understand these things. Bev spent 20 years in accountancy. Bev has done various other things, including "ghost writing" a book. Bev also has a diploma in fitness and nutrition and was a mentor for an online diet site and is now our resident fitness and nutritionist. Bev is in the process of writing a diet book which will be launch online before the summer.

Travel is something we love to do and have visited many places around the world. January 2005 saw us in Thailand helping after the Tsunami. That was quite a challenge to work in the camps and see what life was really like for those Thai people who survived. Buy the book to know more. We have a few pictures here for you as well.
